ADDICTED to tv series?!

More and more people are addicted to TV. Younger think that it applies only to older people who still watch the news and a long series, but in fact in my opinion teenagers are more addicted than older. If we ask somebody on the university "What are you waiting for?", the vast majority will say that they are waiting for the latest episode of their favorite series.
I still don't understand why people are so suprised when I say "I didn't know about what "How I meet your mother" is.. sorry". They are waiting all week to turn on the show and for 45 minutes to forget everything around, focusing only on the fate of heroes. That's funny in some way that some of us prefer spend time watching an imaginary story than live their own lives. To sum up, are you addicted to Tv series? Does your favourite series ends? Just read how to cope when your favourite TV show ends, I hope it will helps you! CLICK HERE to find out more information about how to cope in difficult for series lovers times!

new year, new you..

A New Year's resolution is a tradition in which a person makes a promise to do an act of self-improvement or something slightly nice, such as opening doors for people beginning from new year's eve.
Everyone wants to be a better person but the most popular day when they want to start they new life is... TOMORROW. Why tomorrow? Because today is the last day of old life, last cheat day, last day lying all day in the bed, watching all day TV series and doing in fact nothing.
But despite TOMORROW, New Year is also a good idea to change something. I would like to present you Top 10 special New Year's Resolution.
1. Back to School – Learning has no age. Pick up where you left off.

    2. Fit in Fitness – Secure a future with fewer trips to the doctor – exercise. Select a regime you can stick to. A group activity may add the element of fun to the routine. Lose some flab. But don’t set any strict target, for then the chances are you may get de-motivated and quit.
    3. Soak up New Skills – Learning something new and interesting is always fun and a value addition too.
    4. Healthy Hogging – Think before you put any morsel in your mouth. Occasional indulgence should be there.
    5. Lose the Loan – Pay off any debt you may have and feel light at heart.
6.Sack Stress – This sounds easier than it actually is, and there is no magic tip. You have to find your own haven.
    7. Contribute for a Cause – Giving back to the society is the least we can do to make the world a better place to live in.
    8. Treasure your Treasures – Splurge is fun, but saving should be the way of living. Plan with your future in mind. Relax the grip once in a while for that blissful indulgence. But should be just one or two annual affair.
    9. Liven up Your Lifestyle – Professional growth is okay, but your personal life requires attention too. Strike a balance.
    10. Organized – This is the key to make life easy, manage time and live stress free. Make a proper To-Do list, and you are half way there already.
And what's about you? Have you already started? Remember TODAY is the best day to change something, tomorrow you can continue your own "resolutions" ;)

pleasure form of spending free time?

As a hothead I often think about the aim of having passion. That is weird, I know but.. why people spend huge amount of money just for fun? Upkeep the horse, attend the rally, cost of workshops, collect difference things - requires a lot of dedication of time and of course money  In most of case people don't earn money from passion (that minority, who earn is the luckiest people all over the world!) So why? Why we do it?
First of all I believe that passions shape our worldview. Hobby allows us to rest from everyday life,
to get away from it all. Passion gives us the opportunity to meet new peoplepeople like us. That's all. Everyone should have passion than our daily life would be easier and gives us more pleasure.
If you haven't got passion, that isn't problem.  Dance, sport, guitar playing, backpacking, fishing or even playing chess- as you see, you can find it everywhere. Just try!

university, yeah!

The main aim of our universities is teaching students how to create new possibilities and innovations and how to find a job after graduation… So, how they can do it without a facilities on their campus? Let’s make a list of conveniences which can be very useful in the student’s life.
First of all there is lack of Wi-Fi connection and what is more- of technology. Why I mention about it? Universities must innovative and technologically upgrade themselves to stay ahead of others and assist the students in much better way. Three, poor quality computers in the library – that is not enough. 2 000 students on the one faculty should have an easy access to the Internet. It doesn't mean that there should be 2 thousand computers but the number should definitely increase.
Another, University should provide more possibilities to find training period. Sometimes it is a first contact with a work environment. Why students can be exposed to bad first impression? Sometimes they have been studying for 5 years and after graduation they can’t find a suitable job. Or even more just while working they realize that is not what they wanted to do. The problem is very common and university should find a possibility to fight with it.

I suggest firstly that the university should invest in technology. Of course, government must provide financial support to the universities and they should change the amount and quality of computers in the library. Secondly, the university should provide a contact with a specialist and company, where students can find a job. So, the directly contact with special community connected with proper branch should be providing for example by cooperation between university and business. Workshop, visits, lectures – it could be a great method of encourage students that their studies are valuables and that there is work for them after studies. What is more, university should provide a list of contact with the best companies where students can find training period.

FAKE HELP, help me?

Why do some people attempt to manipulate and control others? Nobody knows. Some manipulators probably have a personality disorder; others are probably unconsciously mimicking behavior they grew up with and haven’t yet examined; others are probably using planned, calculated attempts to get what they want in life.
Last time I heard about one of manipulation techiques which is called "FAKE HELP" and that's why I decided to write some notes about it.
Fake help is–you guessed it–when a person pretends to try and help you, but really their “help” is just an attempt to control your behavior. Fake help becomes gaslighting when someone disingenuously “helps” you with some sort of psychological problem, either one you really have or one invented by them, with some motive other than helping. Be carefull sometimes HELP is dangerous..

slim and fit!

Weight loss- this issue is connected directly with women, the vast majority of people opting for weight loss are women. Men also attempt to lose weight but for a different reason, men do it for impoving health (in the case of hypertension, excessive cholesterolinfarct risk, etcless frequently due to the appearance or self-esteem. As opposed to men most women do it for aesthetic reasons. Women have always cared about their appearancebody conditionskin, nailshair. Nowadays in world full of ads with pristine beautiful women, the pressure of perfect looks and the figure is higher. It is important that the diet should be well-matched to the body and a healthy! Woman, remeber that all comercials are fake- photos in magazins, TV and billboards are improved and modified. So maybe accept your body will be a better option than torturing a drastic diets?

can you imagine that you have only 62cm?

There is a woman in India who has just 62 cm. Jyoti Amge, because we talk about her, is an Indian actress notable for being the world's smallest living woman according to Guinness World Records.
She weighs 11 pounds and stands at 23 inches. She has a "form of dwarfism called achondroplasia".
Jyoti can't do normal, everyday things because she look like 3months baby. For her safety always someone needs to be with her.
On her fame, she says, "I don't like it if I am being held like a baby," but that she will let some people and fans pick her up.
She also gets mad when someone annoys her by touching her hair or keeps touching her without permission.
Could you imagine how difficult is life with 62cm height? But Jyoti decided to use it in the best way and... stay ACTRESS! We can see her in different movies, in August 2014 Amge was even cast in American Horror Story: Freak Show!
Despite of height she has a big personality. If you have not possibility see her with your own eyes you can go to Celebrity Wax Museum in Lonavala. Where you can easily find her wax statue.
In Poland we have TV show, which is called "woman on the edge of the world" and I "met" Jyoti by watching it because one episode was tottaly about her.
Enjoy watching ;)

Hitchhike is always good idea

More and more popular mood of transport is hitchhike, why? It is so exciting, cheap and often the adrenture start from hitchhike! How to do it? The following instructions have been collected from the experiences of many a weathered hitchhiker.

First - Invest in a good map.
A detailed map is worth the money. If you need a free map, though, find a tourist spot (hotel, airport, bus station, tourist information booth) and pick up a pamphlet that has a decent map inside. State welcome centers on interstate highways also have free highway maps for their state. Rental car places tend to have the best free maps. Look for a map that shows road numbers, rest areas, and gas stations.

Second - Take precautions.
Scan your ID (and passport, if traveling internationally) and e-mail it to yourself. If it gets stolen, print out copies at a library. For passports, go to an embassy with your copies and do what you need to do to get a new passport. Americans will need to provide two passport photos and fill out a few forms to get a temporary passport. Have the phone number for your credit card company before you leave. If you lose your credit card, call them immediately, cancel your card, and have them send a new one to an address where you can receive it (like an embassy). Pack some pepper spray, in case you encounter a shady character, on or off the road.

make a sign! just take a piece of paper, pen and write BIG, VISIBLE name of cities which you want to visit ;) It helps you to find the truck and car!

Wish you luck and I'm waiting for your comments!

ghosts? easly catch them all!

Catching ghosts is a tricky business! You need to know where to look for them next level- how to confirm their presence and the best ways to capture them. Remember, we are talking about the GHOST so you also need a strong tolerance for fear!

Definitelly you should look for ghosts in old houses it is mean houses like 100 or 200 years old, not from the 1970s. Sometimes when a person dies (additional avantage), their spirit will return to the place where they died or a place they can't bear to leave behind, which is often their family home. Just be sure to get permission before you go ghost hunting on private property.
Cemeteries are another good location for ghost catching, even if they can be a little creepy at night! You can find the ghost also in old school, old prison buildings or in the place when the morder or suicide was commited.
ADVICE! Sometimes, ghosts cannot bear to leave their physical bodies behind after death, while other spirits (particular those who haven't been able to move on) come to visit the graves of their family and friends.

Then develope a method to catch ghosts, few of methods are here:

And... try to catch the most polite ghost, wish u luck!

breakup? broken heart?

Going through heartbreak can feel like being underwater when you need to breathe. If you're dealing with heartbreak and want to heal, try these suggestions to find the new you.

Give yourself some me time.
Remove all the memories of the person from your everyday life.
Disconnect the person from all the social networks you use.
Exercise and eat right.
Stay optimistic.

I found on the Internet some advice how to deal with heartbreak. First statement- ok, you will need some time for you, time to focus on your needs. Sometimes in relation we loose our desires and we dedicate full atention to the other person- what is obviously wrong. So relax and spend some time with .. you. ;)
Second statement- hide all souvenirs, don't throw. Why? After some times, when you cool off, the time to mention the relation will come. It could be few days, months or years but back to souvenirs will be worth it!
Third statement? I totally disagree.. only kids behave that way. Don't be foolish!
Two lasts senetnces are totally true. Stay optimistic, take care of yourself, do something good for your body! It's hightime to smile as much as possible. It'll help you feel better and look great. Watch funny movies, read funny books, or hang with funny friends.

Hope u like it,
xoxo

Can education teach you how to live your life?

Oscar Wilde claimed that “education is an admirable thing but it is well to remember from time to time that nothing that is worth knowing can be taught.” It seems that words uttered a century ago are even more accurate in relation to the contemporary state of education. After answering three simple questions you will have no doubt about the brilliance of that statement.
Does education provide knowledge essential to one's survival? Cluttering young minds with dates, definitions and formulae – is what schools do best. What they tend to completely disregard is practical knowledge. What use do we have of knowing the names and specifications of all the crops planted in Europe when we are unable to plant and grow (not to mention make use of) a single one of them with our own hands? No matter how educated we are, when cut off from the goods of civilisation we are not likely to survive even a week on our own.
Can education teach you how to live your life? The answer is simple – no it can not.

CARS

It is undeniably that popularity of cars has been steadily increasing from their invention in the nineteenth century. Not only did they revolutionize transport, but also influenced and changed our lives as well. This is the main reason why I can not agree with the statement that cars enslave us. In my opinion, the situation is quite the contrary – cars liberate us. Our lives have become easier, more convenient and mobile owing to them.

It is important to emphasize the independence and freedom that we were given. People are no longer obliged to rely on public transport, which is rarely adapted to our needs. Timetables often fail, routes do not suit us, buses are crowded and dirty. Being an owner of a car gives you complete freedom of choice – you can drive whenever and wherever you wish. This leads us to the issue of traveling – with cars people are able to take trips on their own to places unreachable from a bus or a train.
Needles to say that cars are far more convenient and more pleasant means of transport.

MUSIC FOR EVERYONE

When we hear the word 'music', we usually associate it with our favourite song, with which we have some good memories. Music may seem irrelevant, but in fact it does influence our lives significantly. Some say it can be bad for us, because it provokes inappropriate behaviour, others say that it is a blessing not only for our ears, but also souls. The question remains whether it is able to save lives. In my opinion, yes.
Music is an integral part of people's lives, especially the young ones, those who often identify with the music they listen to. It is treated not only as an entertainment, but also a haven that keeps them hidden and safe whenever they need to escape from reality. What is more, songs' lyrics often help young, confused people in resolving problems, as they provide some answers and guidelines in moments of doubt. It is also important to notice that for young people, music is sometimes a significant, if not the only one, reason to live. We often hear or read about people who claim that they were able to find a purpose of their lives thanks to their favourite band or singer that saved them from a miserable fate. No matter if it is only listened to, or created by young people, music definitely helps in surviving rough times in their lives...

Why do some people believe in ghost?

Scientists have basically disproved the existance of ghost by doing research. Even though there is no scientidic proof that ghosts exist, in every culture and religion people have their oen theories related to ghosts or other spirits that remain on earth after death. In my opinion there are 2 main reasons for these theories:

FIRST of all people like to think there's an afterlife, eternal life after death of a body. Some bielieve that souls of people who went to purgatory wander about on earth.

Secondly, people like to believe that it is possible to see or maybe even interact with loved ones they have lost. Sometimes they just can't reconcile to loss of someone they loved and they believe taht this person still present in their life and takes care od them.

I think that those are both powerfull reasons to believe in ghosts and it is quite difficult for sceprics to refuse thouse beliefs. What do YOU think about ghosts? Have you ever seen ghost? ;> let me know!

WHAT EFFECT DOES SOCIAL MEDIA HAVE ON OUR LIVES?

In 2012 almost 30% of Poles, aged from 13 to 50, claimed to have a Facebook account. It gives us around 10 million people who found social networking sites such as Facebook or Twitter appealing and the popularity of social media still increases. But is it really as exceptional as it appears to be?
Undeniably, such sites make staying in touch with friends or family way easier. There is no need to go out if we can switch on our computers and chat with them. It is a big advantage if a person we are talking to lives in another city or abroad. But more and more people are getting out of a habit of meeting friends and such lack of real contact can lead to isolation.
Do not forget about freedom of speech. It is an important aspect of social media. We can share our opinion and then be befriended by people with similar interests. But for some people anonymity on the Internet gives the opportunity to use hate speech or to defame others.

One sure thing about social media is that it has both good and bad points. As it is almost unimaginable not to use social networking sites these days, we should try to control the bad sides and focus on the good ones.

celebrity, be or not to be?

Nowadays it is almost impossible not to know about what is going on in the entertainment industry. We are surrounded by glossy covers of tabloids, Internet is full of pictures of celebrities and so on. No wonder people are worried that soon there will be no place in mass media for serious issues like the environment. But should they be?
Undoubtedly most of us are curious about what celebrities have to struggle with in their everyday life. It is easy to find out about it thanks to mass media. But as in the past we could often put an equal sign between “popular” and “notorious”, now it has changed. Celebrities know they have a big influence on people and they try to be the role models for us, especially for the youngsters. More and more celebs are getting involved in the environmental issues. Wanting to encourage us to take care of the Earth, they participate in different campaigns or they simply have an eco-friendly lifestyle and hope we will follow.
Another thing is that we cannot blame the celebrity culture for everything. The truth is people can find out about different ways of helping the environment effortlessly. It is as available as information about celebs. Yet, somehow we prefer wasting our time on reading meaningless things. We do not care about environment, because we assume the eco-lifestyle is expensive and time-consuming.  But maybe if we did some research, it would turn out to be different.

Obviously, celebrity culture can be superficial and distract us from important issues, but it is up to us if we choose it over the environment.

TAXES not taxi

I'm really into taxes, since I have filled my first PIT. So hère you can find some information from my notes about POLISH TAXES.
Taxes in Poland is 32% of Polish GDP. But what kind of taxes do we have in Poland? What is a difference between one another? What are the tax thresholds? In Poland, there are three types of taxes.
1.      The first type of tax is a direct tax, the main example of this tax is Personal Income Tax (in Poland called PIT). Personal Income Tax from are required to pay all persons receiving income. At the same time the people who reside in Polish, they have to pay income tax regardless of whether their income comes from work on Polish territory or any other country in the world. However, people who are not resident in Poland are not required to pay income tax. This means that the tax in Poland only profits earned on Polish territory. In Poland, there are several ways of accounting for income taxes. Every citizen can choose the most convenient form of in its sole discretion.     The first method is a progressive tax scale. With this kind of tax calculation, in particular, can benefit married couples and single parents. It is extremely beneficial for them. In a progressive tax scale, the first tax bracket is 18%, it relates to income which does not exceed 85 528zł (this is about 22,000 euro). If income is greater than 85 528 zl, a tax on the amount exceeded will be equal 32%. Second possibility accounting for income taxes is a uniform 19% tax rate. If a citizen chooses this way, he will pay completely only 19% of the total of your income. Flat rate tax (19%) is also designed for the companies and business. This type of tax calculation is called a flat tax. If, however, the tax office notices that the citizen does not fully explain the income, penalty is called remedial sanction and is 75% of the total income.
2.      In addition to direct taxes shown above in Poland there is also an indirect tax. It includes a tax on goods and services (VAT), excise tax, gaming tax. Nowadays in Poland there are four VAT's tax rates - mainly 23% but there exist also: 8%, 5% and 0%.
3.      The third and final type of tax in Poland is a wealth tax. Wealth tax includes taxes on inheritance and gift tax on civil law transactions, tax agricultural, forestry tax, property tax, vehicle tax. The wealth tax has not centrally established of tax brackets. The tax is determined individually, officials take into account the economic situation and financial possibilities of the person.

The tax system in Poland is unreadable and difficult to understand for the average Pole. In 2011, the government made simpler method of calculating the tax, it caused that the accounting is a bit easier for the Poles. Since that time, we may also account for the internet which is very important for the younger generation.

POLAND

Little introduction ....Poland is a country in central Europe. Now, the capital is Warsaw. Polish capitals in the past were also Gniezno, the first capital of Poland, then Krakow and Poznan. Finally, in 1815 the capital was removed to Warsaw by Sigismund III Vasa. Poland has free access to the sea, it border by the Baltic Sea in the north, the border has a length of 440 km. My country also has full access to the mountains. The most important and also the largest mountain ranges in Poland are the Sudeten and Carpathian Mountains. Country on the Vistula River - so commonly referred to Poland - is a relatively large country. It is the ninth the largest country in the European Union - 312 679 km². Polish territory was drastically reduced after the end of hostilities in 1945 and it was the result of an agreement at the Conference in Tehran in 1943. In the years 1918-1945 Polish territory was 35% higher than the current. It is interesting to recall  that in its heyday of my country, Polish territory stretched from the Baltic Sea to the Black Sea.  It is the sixth the largest country in terms of population. The population in Poland is 38.5 million. The population has also been significantly reduced as a result of hostilities in 1939-1945.

How to be punctual?!

Showing up late to every meeting and event can stress you out and leave others questioning how reliable you are. In different cultures/countries "punctual" has totally strange meaning but in our culture this is quite desirable trait.
Here, I want to show you what should you do to be punctual!
At first, have everything ready the night before. Second, keep your essentials near the door. And finally, Create a staging area near the door. What is also useful, you can commit yourself to being 15 minutes early for everything. If you have to be to work at 8:00, don't even tell yourself you can walk in the door right on the dot. Instead, say to yourself, "I have to be at work at 7:45." If you do this, you will be on time even with little unforeseen interruptions.
You can put into practice the above advice or just former better habbits, but general it is too late ;)

xoxo

PS. as you can see, I have always problem with being punctual!
